Lovely pair of 19th century English Windsor chairs Two beautiful chairs with a lot of charm and a beautiful patina. They have been checked by our cabinetmaker. They have reinforcements in the back which is important for their solidity. The chairs are comfortable, with a single piece seat with a beautiful flame and the seat carved from the mass which is a sign that they are from the 19th century. Superb Louis XVI period cabaret table in mahogany rare table offering numerous functions. It can serve as a writing table with its beautiful tobacco-colored leather and two pull-out slides (length with slides: 1.32m). It can also be used as a games table with the writing surface that flips over to reveal a felt-tip pen. Beneath the removable section is a white marble top in perfect condition. Ideal as a display table, bar, or other use. This superb piece features a beautiful brass molding with an openwork section. It has a compartmentalized drawer in its frieze with a working key. Superb and rare Regency mahogany Davenport desk, circa 1810. This small English piece can serve as a writing desk or a superb display cabinet of exceptional quality. Such fine pieces are rarely seen, especially from the Regency period.. It features a mechanism that allows the upper writing surface to be extended. On the right side, there are four drawers. Each drawer has mahogany sides and bottoms, a sign of quality. On the left side, the front is adorned with four false drawers in the same style as the main drawers. Both the right and left sides also have pull-out slides. The upper section consists of a slanted drop-front lined with leather. It reveals a storage compartment with four drawers. One of these drawers is a false drawer; when its knob is pulled, it opens a mechanism that reveals a hidden secret drawer on its right side. Beautiful patina and in perfect condition. An elegant mahogany writing slope from the English Navy, featuring brass decorations typical of this type of furniture. Beautiful brass ornamentation includes corner brackets and reinforcements, a finely shaped keyhole escutcheon, and a central motif on the top. A medallion bearing the name of the first owner, Stevens, is located in the center. The writing slope opens to reveal two leather sleeves, two inkwells, and a pen holder. It also has a mechanism that, when activated, reveals a trapdoor with three drawers. The two-hook lock is functional and comes with its key.
