19th Century French mahogany writing / sofa table, having a green leather writing surface decorated with blind and gilt tooling, with a brass moulded edge, three mahogany lined drawers and three faux drawers on the reverse, with the original brass handles, the drawer fronts having brass bead decoration, and brass patraes at each corner, with the same on the sides of the desk, standing on square tapered legs terminating on decorative brass engraved castors.  Circa 1890
